WHAT’S ON AND WHERE

What’s on and Where

Recovery Church services, drop ins and groups are for people in recovery from a range of addictions including drugs and alcohol.  If you would like to find out more, please contact the named individual linked to their particular programme of activities

We seek to ensure everyone who comes to our services, drops-ins and groups feel seen, heard and valued.  We cultivate a culture of celebration, honesty and mutual support – loving kindness without judgement.

The hosting denomination holds the space as a ‘safe container’ which ensures Safeguarding and other policies are in place to protect all those involved.

The Recovery Church embraces people of all denominations, faiths and none but openly affirms its Christian ethos and tradition.

We seek to use the gifts and assets of those in the community for the benefit of the community and to share the message to other people struggling with their addiction. (Step 12)

On-line Zoom Service

Sundays 6pm – 7:15pm

Our on-line community meets on Zoom every Sunday evening.  People from all over the UK (and sometimes further afield) access this service each week.  A WhatsApp group exists so people are able to keep in contact during the week.  To ensure the service remains a safe space for those seeking recovery we do not advertise the Zoom link, but it is available by contacting Deacon Tracey Hume via email deacontraceyhume@gmail.com  and via mobile 07584 662564.

Recovery Church Newcastle

Our Newcastle Upon Tyne Recovery Church community meets in the Education Room (on the first floor) at Newcastle Cathedral, St Nicholas Square, NE1 1PF every Wednesday evening

Please note that this room has a keycode access so if you plan to attend please contact Jon Canessa via jon.canessa@recoverychurch.org.uk or phone 07727 058420 so we can ensure you can get access to the room.
